The Cornerstone Academy Trust is responsible for Broadclyst, Westclyst and Yeo Valley Primary Schools. The Trust utilises its Academy freedoms to deliver an enriched and exciting project-based, problem-solving curriculum.

We are looking to recruit a permanent, part time Data Protection Officer (DPO).
The DPO will sit at the heart of the Multi Academy Trust, requiring excellent subject knowledge together with a proven track record of professional expertise in this area.

The DPO will be the subject matter expert in the handling of personal data, and lead on a mixture of policy and compliance activities to ensure the Trust’s processes and practices comply with data protection laws.

The role will act as the DPO for the Trust, be the focal point for data protection and privacy activities and foster a good data protection and privacy culture within the Trust.

The DPO will have the authority to act independently of senior management in carrying out their responsibilities and will report to the highest management level of the Trust.

The DPO is a key role and will provide guidance and advice to the Trust, its managers and employees and help to ensure that the Trust and its academies meet their obligations to protect personal data in line with legislation.

In return you will have the opportunity to work in an exciting and forward-thinking organisation which places high value on supporting, rewarding and developing its workforce.

Senior School Administrator

The Cornerstone Academy Trust is responsible for Broadclyst, Westclyst and Yeo Valley Primary Schools. We are looking to appoint a Senior Administrator at Yeo Valley Primary School in Barnstaple.

Required from September 2019, the post holder will provide an efficient and friendly administrative service to parents, children and staff alike. They will be extremely personable with excellent communication skills both on the telephone and face to face. We need an inspiring and dedicated administrator who will bring flair and efficiency to our highly regarded office teams.

As well as being part of the frontline “meet and greet” reception service at Yeo Valley, the Senior Administrator will offer support to our Lead Administrator in coordinating the work of the Trust-wide administrative team.

You will become involved in many aspects of day to day office work including maintenance of the management information system, managing the school calendar, monitoring income streams, working with teachers to coordinate registers for clubs, liaising with the kitchen regarding school meals and managing pupil records.

We want someone who will bring natural organisational skills to the role as well as a liking for planning, analysis, and reporting.
