Based in Exeter
Required as soon as possible after Easter 2020, the post holder will be part of our existing administration team providing support to the families and staff at each of our schools. You will be extremely personable with excellent communication skills both on the telephone and face to face. We need an inspiring and dedicated administrator who will bring additional flair and efficiency to our highly regarded office team.
We are seeking a new colleague to support this expansion from both the ‘back office’ as well as being the face of the school and trust if covering reception duties. We want a person who will bring natural organisation skills to the role as well as a liking for accuracy, planning, analysis, and reporting. It is essential that the postholders have excellent and demonstrable Excel skills as well as competency in other Office packages. Experience of MS OneNote and Teams would be advantageous. You must have a keen eye for detail and be able to maintain tight version control on all documentation. You will work in an efficient manner and have a “get the job done” attitude. You will be allocated specific areas of responsibility but will also support the rest of the team in Trust-wide administration.
The working hours are 40 per week, starting at 8.30am, finishing at 5.00pm, with a 30-minute lunch break. The position is all year round with 4 weeks annual leave (to be taken in school holidays). We are also looking for a willingness on some days of the week to start earlier as part of a team rota to welcome breakfast club children into school. Although based at Broadclyst, you will at times be asked to work at other sites, therefore, your own transport is desirable.
The salary will commence at £16,850 per annum, full time equivalent. The actual salary will be £18,216 based on 40 hours a week.
Cornerstone Academy Trust is responsible for Broadclyst, Westclyst and Yeo Valley Primary Schools, and will be opening a new school in the Monkerton area of Exeter later this year.
Our employees have access to a health scheme, and a cycle to work scheme. Visits to Broadclyst or Westclyst are welcome by prior arrangement. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check is required for this post.
