Required as soon as possible is a ‘School Minibus Driver’ to be employed on a casual basis. The role will include transporting pupils and staff on educational visits or sporting fixtures and other similar activities. You will be required to drive one of the school’s four 17-seater minibuses or our 7-seater car.
You should possess a clean driving licence, and be willing to undertake any necessary training, dependant on the types of vehicle your licence permits you to drive. Any training costs will be funded by the school.
We operate bus runs to and from the Pinhoe and Cranbrook areas early in the morning and at the end of the school day. Availability at these times would be desirable but not essential. We also use our bus drivers for school trips and sporting activities during the school day.
The post is a zero hours contract where hours of work will be agreed on a mutually acceptable basis as and when the need for work arises. The hourly rate for this position is £8.73 plus an element of holiday pay.
Visits to the school are welcome by prior arrangement.
